The Pathokinesiology Service accepts referrals for clinical testing to diagnose abnormal joint motions and muscle activity patterns that limit the ability to walk in persons with neurological and orthopedic disabilities.  Clinical testing is also performed to assess upper extremity function.

These quantitative tests provide physicians and therapists information necessary to devise individually appropriate treatment plans to improve function.

Detailed reports may include recommendations for surgery, lower extremity bracing, nerve and muscle block as well as customized therapeutic interventions.
